Some things don’t change. The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 8th June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.
On 10 June, Porsche Centre Sheffield is hosting a Sportscar Together Day to celebrate 70 years of Porsche, with a prestigious event held at Tankersley Manor, Barnsley. You, your family and your friends are invited to help celebrate this historic occasion.
The event will be a celebration of all things Porsche, with a display of some of the latest Porsche models as well as classic models that represent Porsche through the decades. Pre-bookable demonstration drives* will be available in the Macan, 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models. Children will be treated to a mini driving school as well as other fun activities. Refreshments will be available throughout the day including a BBQ at lunchtime.
Please contact Porsche Centre Sheffield on info@porschesheffield.co.uk or 0114 256 4455 for more information, or to register your attendance including pre-booking a demonstration drive.
We hope you can join us and we look forward to what promises to be an exciting event.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
